Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of gabby, an iOS app and service published by Great Ordinary. By using gabby, you agree to these Terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.

Your scripts and recordings

You are responsible for the scripts you enter and for having permission to record, transcribe, or present the material and speech you use with gabby. Do not use gabby to violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.

Transcription accuracy

Live transcription and script matching are automated and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Keep an appropriate backup or manual scrolling option when a presentation is important.

Free realtime allowance

gabby includes a one-time allowance of 30 realtime voice-following minutes without a purchase. Script editing, manual scrolling, mirroring, and display controls do not require a subscription. Great Ordinary may reasonably limit or change service allowances to protect the service, subject to applicable law.

gabby pro subscriptions

gabby pro includes up to 180 realtime voice-following minutes in each monthly usage period. It is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. In the United States, the current prices are $9.99 per month and $69.99 per year; regional pricing and taxes may vary, and the price displayed by the App Store before purchase controls.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Annual subscribers receive the same monthly realtime allowance, refreshed monthly while the annual subscription remains active.

You can manage or cancel gabby pro in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple handles billing and refunds under its policies. Unused realtime minutes do not roll over or have cash value.

Acceptable use

You may use gabby for personal or professional lawful purposes. You may not interfere with the service, bypass its security or usage limits, automate abusive requests, reverse engineer protected service components, or use it to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

Availability and changes

gabby may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Great Ordinary does not promise that transcription or the online service will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device, microphone, network, or future operating-system version.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, gabby is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Great Ordinary is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of scripts, recordings, opportunities, profits, or goodwill arising from gabby. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
